赣南师范大学来华留学生学位授予工作细则（修订）
Detailed Rules for Degree Awarding of International Students
at Gannan Normal University (Revised)
第一条 为促进国际合作与交流，维护学校正常的教育教学秩序，保证来华留学生的培养质量，根据国务院学位委员会《关于普通高等学校授予来华留学生我国学位试行办法》（学位〔1991〕17号），教育部、外交部、公安部《高等学校接受外国留学生管理规定》（2000年第9号），教育部、外交部、公安部《学校招收和培养国际学生管理办法》（2017年第42号），教育部《来华留学生高等教育质量规范（试行）》（教外〔2018〕50号）及有关法律、法规，结合学校实际，制定本细则。
1. In order to promote international cooperation and exchange, maintain the normal educational and teaching order of universities, and ensure the quality of education of international students in China, in accordance with the “Trial Measures for Granting Chinese Academic Degrees to Ordinary Higher Education Institutions” (Degree; No. 17, 1991), “The Regulations on the Administration of Higher Education Institutions Accepting Foreign Students" (No. 9, 2000) issued by Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Public Security, “Management Measures for the Recruitment and Training of International Students in Schools” (No. 42, 2017) issued by Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Public Security, “Quality Standards for Higher Education of International Students in China (Trial)” (Education, Foreign Affairs; No. 50, 2018) issued by Ministry of Education and relevant laws and regulations, combined with the actual situation, the university has formulated these detailed rules.
第二条 学校授予来华留学生学位的专业是学校已取得相应学位授予权的专业。
2. The major in which the university grants degrees to international students studying in China is the majors in which the university has obtained the corresponding degree granting authority.
第三条 学校授予来华留学生学位，应根据《中华人民共和国学位条例》《中华人民共和国学位条例暂行实施办法》的有关规定，除要求留学生在政治思想上对华友好外，还要求其遵守我国现行学位制度的原则，同时考虑各国实际情况，做到实事求是，保证质量。
3. When awarding degrees to international students studying in China, the university shall comply with the relevant provisions of the “Regulations on Academic Degrees of the People's Republic of China” and the “Interim Implementation Measures for the Regulations on Academic Degrees of the People's Republic of China”. In addition to requiring political and ideological friendliness to China, the university shall also require international students to comply with the principles of China's current academic system, take into account the actual situation of various countries, be practical and ensure quality.
第四条 来华留学生硕士学位授予基本条件：
（一）对华友好，遵守中华人民共和国法律、法规及学校规章制度。在读期间未受过“记过”及以上处分，或受过“记过”及以上处分，但在申请学位前已解除。
（二）通过本专业规定的基础理论课程、专业主干课程的考试和选修课的考查。修满学校相关专业来华留学生人才培养方案所规定的学分。
（三）具有本学科扎实的理论基础，掌握本学科系统的专门知识和基本技能，具有从事科学研究工作或专门技术工作的能力。
（四）完成毕业论文（设计）并通过论文答辩。
（五）汉语水平考试（HSK）成绩达到相应要求：
1．中国语言文学类专业须达到HSK5级210分（含）或以上；
2．中文授课的其它专业须达到HSK5级180分（含）或以上；
3．英文授课专业须达到HSK3级180分（含）或以上。
4. Basic conditions for granting a master’s degree to international students in China:
(1) A student should be friendly to the People’s Republic of China and abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and rules and regulations of the university. During his study period, he did not receive any “demerit recording” or or more serious disciplinary sanctions, or received “demerit recording” or more serious disciplinary sanctions, but was revoked before applying for a degree.
(2) A students should pass the examinations of basic theoretical courses, major core courses, and optional courses specified in this major and gain the credits specified in the study program for international students majoring in relevant majors at the university.
(3) A students should have a solid theoretical foundation in the discipline, mastering the specialized knowledge and basic skills of the discipline system, and be capable of engaging in scientific research or specialized technical work.
(4) A students should complete the graduation thesis (design) and pass the thesis defense.
(5) A students should pass The Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) with the corresponding requirements:
a. Chinese language and literature majors must achieve a score of 210 or above at HSK5 level;
b. Other majors taught in Chinese must achieve a score of 180 or above at HSK5 level;
c. English teaching majors must achieve a score of 180 or above at HSK3 level.
第五条 来华留学生学士学位授予基本条件：
（一）对华友好，遵守中华人民共和国法律、法规及学校规章制度。在读期间未受过“记过”及以上处分，或受过“记过”及以上处分，但在申请学位前已解除。
（二）通过本专业规定的基础理论课程、专业主干课程的考试和选修课的考查。修满学校相关专业来华留学生人才培养方案所规定的学分。
（三）具有本专业较为扎实的理论基础，掌握本专业基本知识和基本技能，具有一定的科学研究能力。
（四）毕业论文（设计）合格并通过论文答辩。
（五）汉语水平考试（HSK）成绩达到相应要求：
1．中国语言文学类专业须达到HSK5级210分（含）或以上；
2．中文授课的其它专业须达到HSK5级180分（含）或以上；
3．英文授课专业须达到HSK4级180分（含）或以上。

(1) A student should be friendly to the People’s Republic of China and abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China and rules and regulations of the university. During his study period, he did not receive any “demerit recording” or or more serious disciplinary sanctions, or received “demerit recording” or more serious disciplinary sanctions, but was revoked before applying for a degree.

b. Other majors taught in Chinese must achieve a score of 180 or above at HSK5 level;
c. Majors taught in English must achieve a score of 180 or above at HSK4 level.
第六条 学位证书分中文和英文两本且具有同等效力。
6. The degree certificate is issued in two languages: Chinese and English, with equal validity.
第七条 本细则自发文之日起施行。学位授予相关事宜由学校学位评定委员会授权国际教育学院负责解释。原《赣南师范大学授予来华留学生学位实施办法》（师大发〔2017〕33号）同时废止。
7. These detailed rules shall come into effect from the date of issuance. The International Education School is authorized by the University's Degree Evaluation Committee to interpret matters related to degree awarding. The original “Implemented Measures for Granting Degrees to International Students in China by Gannan Normal University” (GNNU No. 33, 2017) shall be abolished simultaneously.
